Eagles vs Chiefs Super Bowl Matchup PART 2

Here we are again...the Philadelphia Eagles are going to the Super Bowl against the best quarterback in the entire league, but now he's trying to attempt to do something no one has ever done. Win three Super Bowls in a row.
After a dramatic beatdown against the Washington Commanders, the Eagles are coming in playing at the peak of their game. Against the Commanders, Saquon Barkley had 118 rushing yards and three touchdowns. At the same time, Jalen Hurts silenced his haters by throwing for 246 passing yards and scoring four total touchdowns. The Eagles' offense had arguably their most productive game of the entire year and ended up scoring 55 total points.
But how can the Eagles beat the best quarterback and coach duo in the entire league and possibly ever? The answer is simple in theory but will be tough to execute: find that perfect balance of running the ball and using the passing game. Steve Spagnuolo (the Chiefs DC) is known for his creative blitzes, so if the offensive line and running backs pick up the blitzes and block for Jalen Hurts, then the Eagles should be successful. Another aspect against that blitz I would love to see is Hurts reading where the players are coming from and calling a play according to what he sees. For example, if he sees one downfield linebacker in the middle of the field and it looks like he's blitzing, either run the ball right at the linebacker and hope for a big hole up the middle or run a slant from the slot and hope the wide receiver beats the cornerback off the line of scrimmage. It will be those types of decisions that will decide how the offense will play.
Something to keep an eye on, however, is how well the Eagles' defense plays. This is by far the best defense the Chiefs have played so far this season, and to be successful, the defense needs to keep up what they've been doing all year. Something that has plagued the Eagles in the past two Super Bowls in 2017 and 2022 is that the defense gave up 30-plus points even though they were a top-five defense throughout the year. This time around, we need to get penetration from our D-line from players like Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith. They don't have the turf to blame like in the 2022 Super Bowl. I am eyeing 3-5 total sacks from this defense, as the Chiefs' offensive line is not as strong this year as it was last year.
Now for my official prediction. I'm thinking the score will be 35-28. Who do I think will win? I have no idea. It could go both ways, as this 2024-2025 Chiefs team thrives in one-score games like no team in history. However, the Eagles could easily control the ground game and run out the clock like no other team in the league this year. Overall, I think this has the potential to be one of the best Super Bowls within the last 7-10 years. Both teams are so weirdly perfectly matched both on offense and defense. But I think it will come down to whoever has the ball last and who makes the least amount of mistakes and takes advantage of the other team's turnovers. Regardless, GO BIRDS!
